Biography
Minister Reginald Boney was born in Durham, NC. He began singing at age 5 with the "Voices of Calvary" choir at Mount Calvary Holy Church in Durham, NC where his pastor was the late Bishop Yelverton. At age 10 he began playing the organ for the church he now attends, Victory Temple Holy Church, where the pastors are his parents, Raymond and Regina Boney. He was educated in the Durham Public School System, attending Durham School of the Arts and Southern Durham High School. He is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, where he obtained a B.A. degree in History with concentration in African American Studies. Upon graduating from NCCU, Minister Boney accepted God's call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. On August 7, 2009 he delivered his initial sermon during the 2009 "Youth Explosion" conference at Victory Temple Holy Church. His first sermon, entitled "Lord, I'm ready to see," was derived from Luke 4:16-20. Minister Boney currently resides in Durham, NC with his wife Latia White-Boney, who serves as his business manager. When recently asked what goals he had for his gospel music career, he responded " I would like for my music ministry to touch, save, and anoint the lives of all who listen; while drawing them closer to God."Favorite Scripture
